'Hit me' with fractions!
By playing Frack Jack, learners get to exercise important critical thinking skills when determining which equivalent parts of a whole can be substituted for others. Learners also learn to closely estimate accumulated parts that may make one whole circle. By removing parts to substitute for other equivalent parts, learners gain understanding in manipulating fractions to meet their goal.
