Different types of murals have been part of many significant artistic movements in many different cultures. From large fresco murals in ancient Europe to famous industrial Mexican murals in the 20th century, murals have been a way to share profound and unifying messages with one’s community. RAFT’s Multimedia Mural Art Kit offers students a chance to explore the artistic wonder of murals. Each kit comes with four to eight panels and colorful creative reuse materials that can be arranged, modified and connected in countless ways to create a small or large group project.
Use our mural kit to engage students in any relevant lesson that you have, or use one of our Design Challenge Prompts to get started.
In the "Maker" spirit, we've included a number of short, fun, and engaging design challenges that can be used with this kit. Try them out, or create one of your own.
